Fullfilled

ful·ly
ˈfo͝olē/
adverb
1.
completely or entirely; to the furthest extent

I love that word. It completely describes how I want to live my life. Being a Christian has so much fullness. And has so much freedom. The freedom to experience all God has to offer with nothing holding you back. The fullness of being satisfied and content.

This is the most important thing I have learned in the last year. I have been so into experiencing the world God has created and given to us.

Nature:
I want to see the world. I will never stop seeing or doing new things. There is so much out their God is waiting for me to discover and I don't want to waste my time. My friend Alaina posted a picture on her blog the other day of her rock climbing over a 100 foot cliff in the Swiss Alps. She said God made life to be lived in that way. I completely agree.

Love:
If there is one thing I know about living life to the fullest is that it cannot be done without love. Love every aspect of your God and the life he has given you no matter what circumstance you're in. I want to go out and meet all kinds of people and love them. My last post was about my friendships. I have a great group of friends who I love wholeheartedly. Honestly nothing makes my life more full than those people. They make me complete.

I am no expert on living a fulfilled life. The only thing I can promise is I strive to live that way, the way God intended.

Friends. Roommates. Forever.

Wednesday August 21, 2013. Senior year starts in one week. The last couple weeks has brought so much joy.

I have new roommates. Jamie and Jenna have officially moved in and Sammie and Chandler have officially moved out. Sammie found out the night before I left for Colorado that she was moving to California. I will miss her so much, but I'm glad to have Jamie and Jenna. In a way they bring new life to our house. It is sweet that I didn't have to move houses to have a different experience. I can already tell that this year will be one to remember.

I have new friends. These friends live in Boulder, Colorado. Last week Grace, Alaina, Theresa and I drove 16 hours to Boulder. We spent four days with Elias and some of his friends. It was truly a great trip. My absolute favor part was making these new friends. Such good and lastly friendships.

Friendships. Forever. I have learned so much in the past few weeks. Mostly about friendships. Deep and meaningful friendships always outlast distance. As my friends move across the country and even across the globe, it only makes me excited. Not seeing their face everyday doesn't diminish our relationship. I am not the type of person that has to talk to my friends on a daily, weekly or even monthly basis. Living in the moment is key. Never letting your friendships take a step back and using the time you have together to grow, even if you only see them once a year.

In a year from now all of my college friends and I will be graduating and moving on. Some of us may be moving on in other cities, states or countries. I honestly am excited. I'm excited to spend this next year enjoying every second I have left here in Austin before taking the next step. Whatever that next step may be. I know the friendships I have made will last a lifetime and for that I am FOREVER grateful.
